Hello, I’m France.
I’m an introverted storyteller, embracing semi-retired living. Writing brought me comfort, so much so that I decided to take a degree in Broadcast Journalism despite people telling me that there’s no money in it. My principle is simple. I do what calls me, nothing more, nothing less.
With a twist of fate, I ended up working as a Video Editor for a TV Network and juggled it with Social Media Marketing for thought leaders across the globe. Both experiences I held dear for 17 combined years until I burned myself out. Though the former is another way of storytelling, the time-sensitive environment was not conducive to my artistry. Whilst the latter is plain brutal to my hermit-ish nature. Took me so long to feel it, but once I did, I knew it was time to let go. There’s discomfort in quitting the life I’m used to, but there’s despair in living out of alignment.
And so in the midst of exploring what’s next after quitting both, I found myself circling back to my first love — writing.
